Gel Print and Mixed Media Collage

An immersive workshop offered as two sessions in gel printing and mixed media collage led by local artist Taline Saatjian, a member of Bedford Arts and Crafts Society. With a BA in graphic design, a passion for art and her curiosity in new techniques, Taline combines a multitude of styles in her art. She designs and makes her own prints made of gelplate, which she uses to create wall art, greeting cards, and paintings.

1st session: Introduction to gel printing, step-by-step demonstration of techniques using layered colors and stencils.

2nd session: Finish a mixed media piece on 6x6 canvas using the prints made in 1st session in combination with different kinds of paper and markers.
